It was the funnest year of camp yet! :D
I have to say it's SO much funner to wake up at 7 AM when you have something exciting to look forward to that day. I had no trouble and I think I was (most of the time) the first one dressed and ready to go.
Quite time was fun and I liked playing Mafia and studying.
For chapel our speaker was Wendy. She spoke about Prayer. She had divided the Lord's Prayer into sections so that for every chapel we talked about the next part of it. It was very interesting and fun.
Swimming and Water Log! OH SO FUN!
Lunch. Every meal at camp is delicious! Not to mention the desert!
In Ground Lesson we mostly went over new parts of the horse and we went over the different Ways the horses move there legs in the walk, trot, canter, and gallop. We learned the breeds and the color breeds. We also learned what to look for in a horse, as in the shoulder.
Ridding Lesson was about the same but we did a little more trotting then we did when we were in Level 1. And we did a little cantering. Don't canter on Summer! I felt Like I was going to fly out of the saddle I was bouncing so high!
Crafts. What do I say about crafts? Well they're crafts.
Archery was fun. I think I hit the target about, ummm... Once! We also get quizzed on archery. I got 75%.
Trail ride was fun. I rode Chipper for that, he's a good horse :) We had a adventure once. Becka, a girl who worked at the barn, was leading our trail ride but it was a trail she had never been on before and so she was looking at the map and talking on her walky-talky trying to figure out what way to go. And she went the wrong way and we went into a ticket of trees, Low-hanging-trees and the branches were about at eye-level with the horses, so they were waking us in the faces. And not to mention the it was REALLY hot that day so we were all in tank-tops, so we were all getting smacked and scratched. And some of the girls, including Becka, had sunburn, Becka's was super bad too. And so when we got through we were laughing and almost crying, sort-of. But it was fun and funny.
Nature walk: Well sens our concealer was the Nature walk-person when we were done with the walk or what ever we did that day we just went to our Wabin as we called it and just hung out till the next activity. (which was chapel)
Pony Express. I got 1 letter and 1 Package. For a letter you have to sing in a group and for a package or 3 letters you have to sing a solo.
Snack shop, I think everyone can guess what that is.
Games: one night we played Kick-the-Can. One night we play Elbow-Tag. Sharks and minnows. The last night we had a water balloon fight!
For Fun Day we had Cotten Candy, Popcorn. And we play a rely and then we did Vaulting. Were we had to get up on Ben, a BIG Horse who helps pull the wagon. So it was REALLY HIGH UP! but it was fun and scary at the same time.
Also on the last night we got the results on hows Wagon had been the cleanest for the week. Then we got Root Beer Flouts!
So that's about it. I'll post the pictures soon :D
