Audtions for Peter Pan

For the past week we have been auditioning for Peter Pan, this year's Kenai Preformer's Winter Musical. Gideon and I both auditioned. We both got callbacks on Sunday. Gideon got called back for Micheal and I got called back for Wendy and Tiger Lily. And one of the things Gideon had to do when trying for Micheal... He got to go up in the rigging and fly!!!

I was a little mad because when they called the "Wendy's" up to sing it had been over an hour sense we had wormed up and all Wendy's songs are high pitched so my voice was not ready for the high notes :/ Oh Well.





So anyway, we got our parts on Monday, Gideon got the understudy for Micheal, and I got an Indian. I wanted to get Tiger Lily but I'm good with an Indian :)



Tuesday I went to 2 hours of Indian dancing. Very fast, fun and hard! I love it though! I felt just like I was in a big dance show. A 5 minute brake, 3 groups, and "Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Go First group!", "Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Second group!" it was amazingly awesome and I was so happy!

Tonight was the read through when we went and the cast read the whole play and sometimes sang songs and the Indians danced (which nobody was prepared for so we all had on jeans).

All and all it was fun. I'm so excited to be in the play this year and I love Peter Pan!
