My friend Kate

My friend Kate has been my pen pal for more then a year now. We both had singed up for Pen Pals through our home school groups. It was about two weeks later I received a letter with my new Pen Pal's info...
"Name: Kate T. Age:13 Family: Mom, dad, sister, 2 brothers. Hobby's: Dance and Karate."
We are really good friends, though we have never met. It started out as Pen Pal's, writing twice a week, then went on to e-mailing, IMing and sending photos back and forth. We love most of the same things and talk about them often, the things that are different we still care about. We are always happy for each other. When I got to dance at the State Fair, she was happy and wanted to hear about it, and when she won 1st place for a 4H presentation, I was happy to hear it and we talked about it. When we got our point shoes we were so happy for each other we spent almost an hour chatting about it.
Lately we have been talking about how cool it would be to meet, we talked about the things we would do and were we would go, shopping, swimming, any other places we could think of. And depending on if she is here or I am there we would watch each others dance classes!!! I hope we can meet some day soon!
We have so much in common but a lot that isn't, and we're still good friends no matter what! I am SO glad we're friends!
