Well I survived our trip! It was rather disappointing though :(I had wanted to go to Claire's and get new magnetic earrings because all but one pair is lost and I wanted to go to the Christan book store and look for Mandie #21 or 22 (some where around there). Anyway, when we went to Claire's they didn't have any cute earrings! (well OK that's not all the way true, they had two pairs of cute ones but they were not dangle and the non-dangle ones don't stay on very well, and the pair of dangle ones they did have were a pair that I had lost and I have hope that I will still find them). So I got fake nails instead, there really pretty but they are WAY too long causing them to come off easier, (I have lost one picking up and putting down my purse, one opening my purse, two came off giving Luthien a Horsey ride, one just came off and another fell off while typing this, do the math).
Then we were able to actually find a Christian book store that HAD Mandie books but of course they didn't have the ones I was looking for!
Oh- well, I did get one good thing out of it... Mom said she would buy Gideon and I both something but I could not find what I was looking for (big surprise right!) so she said she would buy me the i-Tuns songs I have been wanting :D
P.S. I held up fake hair to mine and mom took a picture and it looked kind-of cool.

Bummer you couldn't find what you wanted. It always seems that when you actually have money (or someone is going to buy it for you) you can never find something that you want! So whenever you go to the store and DON'T have money and your mom WON'T buy it for you, there is a TON of things there that you want! This happens to me all the time. At least you get some iTunes. The nails are cool, if they would stay on! Oh well, maybe the next time you go to a store you'll find what you are looking for. ttyl! <3 Kate
p.s. how far away are you from Anchorage? Do you know how many miles?
