I have started curling my hair and I really like it.

I curled it for our book club today to go along with my civil war costume and loved the result.

The sisters embraced
And then they parted,
Their faces tear-washed.
But they wept no more,
And smiled instead, laughed
At what would come,
Whatever would come, though
Hoping, hoping, someday
To embrace again.

Now when specter haunts,
or dragon flames,
or ogre attacks,
