My Bithday!

Last night my parents took us and our friend Greta out to dinner at Don Jose's. It was really good! I had not been there for four years! We got Sopapillas for dessert, they were tiny and I always remembered them being bigger, but who cares as long as they're good! Mom and Dad gave Greta and I some money to go on a scavenger hunt shopping trip. Mom wrote down three things we had to get... 1 piece of clothing, 1 Accessory, 1 Healthy snack or Beauty product, and Dad gave me extra money to get a bag for my portable DVD player as his gift to me.

First Greta and I stopped at the Peninsula Center Mall since we heard they had a purse shop there. But it was already closed so we hurried off to Fred Meyers.
We hit the clothing first... this was my first time to shop in the teens section, before I had always gone to little girls and got the biggest size or go to the women's and got the smallest, just because I could never find anything good looking in teens but I did yesterday! We got around three things each and tried them on, we narrowed it down to our favorites and put them in our cart.
Then we went to look at bags. After looking through almost all of them (of course, isn't that how it always is) we finally found one that was plane enough and still really cute! So I put it in the cart.
Next we hit the accessories. Greta found some head bands and earings and I found a watch, which I had been wanting for a long time, and a ankle bracelet and toe ring set, I couldn't resist! it was all so pretty!

Next we debated about weather to get a healthy snack food or a beauty item, it ended up being beauty item since we were still stuffed from dinner. She got eyeshadow and I got a eyelash curler, since my lashes are so long.

We price checked all our stuff and found that it was all on sale! "YES!" We checked out and called mom, who said she would meet us half way home. On our way and while we waited for mom we talked and complemented each other on our purchases. We thought we saw her coming but it wasn't, then we thought we saw her again and said "this must be her, or it's a crazy person?" "just in case get ready to lock the doors!" *laugh* but it was her. We showed her what we got and said good night.

It was so fun!
